The Pediatric Surgery Foundation has the aim of helping parents of affected children in those countries where otherwise no help would be possible. We support proven specialists to fly to hospitals in medically underdeveloped countries and cure as many children as possible in a certain span of time. In operation marathons, up to 50 children are treated from morning to night within one week. In addition, doctors are continuing to instruct the local hospital staff in order to gradually empower them to perform interventions themselves.
This humanitarian work is basically free of charge and at the expense of the medical teams. We support the doctors with their help by financing their transport and possible accommodation. So, if you want to support the Foundation for Pediatric Surgery, your donation will be to the benefit of the profit in 100%, without administrative deductions.
The Pediatric Surgery Foundation is already helping to finance a number of projects in countries such as Tanzania, Vietnam, Peru, Ethiopia and Russia. In cooperation with international initiatives, we fly in teams of doctors from Germany, the USA or other countries- These make use of the existing clinical infrastructure, operate children and newborns and further educate the hospital staff. Everyone reaches hers or his limits - and at the same time this happens to be infinitely fulfilling.
